  1. This system provides a facility for split-screen displays without any
  2. additional client-side programs besides telnet.  To use this feature,
  3. the /t command is provided.  For example, to set your terminal type to
  4. vt100 and enable split-screen, type:
  5.     /t vt100
  6. Some versions of the telnet problem have problems with the vt100
  7. emulation.  I have found that the "amiga" terminal type works well on
  8. VT100 terminals where telnet causes problems (spurious tabs).

  10. Terminal types are taken from the terminfo file, so just about any
  11. type of terminal you can imagine is supported.
